FirstDart appoints EMEA Sales Manager

To strengthen its International Sales Team and improve customer contact in the important European,Middle Eastand African markets FirstDart Fishing Tackle has appointed Jan Kolousek to the post of Sales Manger EMEA.Commenting on the appointment Sandy Ogata, International Sales Manger, said “Previously the territory Jan is now looking after was a shared territory between our sales offices in Shanghai, Singapore and Europe. We are delighted now to have Jan on board and able to focus on this territory exclusively.”
Jan, based inPrague,Czech Republic, joins FirstDart from the IT and Consulting industry with a number of client facing roles with different companies. As a passionate fisherman the new role allows Jan to combine his professional skills and personal interests. “I’ve fished all my life and fishing is in my family so to be able to join a global company like FirstDart and put my professional skills to use in the sport fishing industry is a dream come true” commented a delighted Jan.
“Jan has joined the company at exactly the right time”, added Simon Henton, Global Marketing Manager. “Our recently launched carp range is ideal for the European market and makes a great addition to our AquaPro Fly line range too. A Challenging and Exciting 2011…

It has been a year to make us proud. FirstDart started 2011 with a new Carp Braid collection and our new Helix HCB launched during China Fish. A two storey booth was the perfect set up to display our new range.
FirstDart was also present in EFTTEX (Amsterdam) and Icast (Las Vegas). We also made a second appearance at Brazil Sport Fishing Trade Show in Sao Paulo and Moscow Fishing Show. We have been all over the globe adding a truly international dimension to our business.
More challenges and excitement ahead as we prepare for 2012.
